Vol. 1 ::: SPRING 2015

The works collected in this volume illustrate the diversity of creative perspectives Exceptions Journal has been privileged to publish over the last year. They explore themes of love and loss, beauty and adversity. A poet born blind describes her perception of colors. A musician calls his blindness a "gift" -- a "muse" even -- that allows him to focus his creative energy. From these points of view and others, we see our world -- and ourselves -- in a new way.
